In honor of the holiday season, Reyn Spooner, for the third year in a row, will be hosting a special holiday event to benefit Make-A-Wish Hawaii on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Mariposa in Neiman Marcus.
Health professionals, including doctors and nurses, who treat kids that have been granted a wish are firm believers that the experience of a wish can influence their overall wellbeing, as well as, empower these children to take back control of their lives and to battle their life-threatening medical conditions.
Make-A-Wish has become one of the world’s largest charities and continues to grow, because of the generosity of local businesses and individual donors. Wishes are 100% privately funded and more than 400 volunteers across all of the islands help to deliver the Make-A-Wish mission with the spirit of Aloha. All proceeds raised in Hawaii will directly benefit local keiki battling life-threatening illnesses.
The event will feature a few of Hawaii’s favorite local entertainers including: HAPA, Herb Ohta Jr., Sean Robbins, Jaymie from Keahiwai (“Lei”), Ryan Nakagawa & Usaburo Mendenhall and more. Mariposa will prepare delicious pupus, while Hawai’i mixologist Joey Gottesman creates signature island-inspired cocktails.
All proceeds from ticket sales and silent auction will be donated to Make-A-Wish® Hawaii to help grant wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Please join us in support of a great cause. For more information, go to wish.reynspooner.com
