October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and in honor of the women and families affected by this devastating disease, Reyn Spooner has chosen to THINK PINK and team up with Kapiolani Medical Center to create a limited edition, PINK collection. This is an annual tradition that began in 2012 and has grown each year since. For 2015, Reyn Spooner has expanded beyond shirts to include bags and other accessories. Ten percent of all proceeds from the PINK collection will benefit Kapiolani Breast Center.
For more than 100 years, Kapiolani Medical Center has given outstanding care to Hawaii’s women and children. Their integrated services, preventative care, as well as, diagnosis and treatment are nationally recognized as Hawaii’s leader in health care and treatment of breast cancer.
Inspired by the beauty of Hawaii, this year’s print features a dusty pink backdrop, accented by different colored Hawaiian Gardenia branches (or “Nanu”). The limited edition, THINK PINK collection includes an Aloha shirt and a variety of accessories. Every piece in this collection has been designed in Hawaii.
The newest arrival to the THINK PINK collection is Reyn Spooner’s dusty pink sarong/scarf. Crafted for quality, this beautiful accessory is perfect for a day at the beach or night out on the town. Made with premium 100% polyester chiffon and gorgeous detailing, you will reach for this scarf time and time again.
We are currently sold out of the large Eco bag and small zip tote and encourage you to purchase if you see an item that you like. This collection is limited edition and selling out quickly.
By joining forces with Kapiolani Medical Center, we hope to spread awareness, not only during the month of October, but be a continued reminder throughout the year. There is more than one way to show your support, so spread the word and THINK PINK.
